It's a bit pricey but you're paying the extra couple bucks for the details. This super-limited pressing (350 copies) features silkscreened covers designed by Fergadelic, and housed in a thick plastic sleeve. Then when you get to the record, it's pressed on white vinyl. Furthermore, in addition to the original version of Riton and Primary 1's "Who's There(1)," there's remixes by In Flagranti(2), Style of Eye(3), and L-Vis 1990(4). Recommended.

Originally released as a promo only CD given away with the second Clutchy album, MF Doom Meets Clutchy Hopkins... is now available on limited edition vinyl! This EP features 6 Doom acapellas thrown over smokey Clutchy downtempo instrumentals. Check the vibe on "Air(1)," "Change The Beat(2)," "My Favorite Ladies(3)," "Impending Doom(4)," "Vomitspit(5)," and "Melody(6)." It's pretty much a match made in beat-head heaven and as with all the Clutchy Hopkins stuff, the instruments are all played live by the Mislead Children and Clutchy himself. Looks like a limited type deal so don't expect these to hang around very long.

Cinnaman & Jay Scarlett culminate their Beat Dimensions 12" series with this 20 track compilation of the finest in new school beats. We already know about producers such as Ras G, Exile, Danny Breaks, Samiyam, Mike Slott, etc. But it seems like every week, new producers on this comp are emerging like Nosaj Thing, Mono/Poly, Dimlite, and Fulgeance. If the compilers were picking stocks, they'd be rich. If you want a snapshot of the current new beats scene, you can't do much better than this. Highly recommended.

The Devil Made Me Do It Book

Neck Face's second book shows why everyone still sweats him. It's impressive to see the progression this guy has made in his art, both in technique and intensity. It just seems a matter a time before he takes his show to video / film, paper and objects can't hold him down. This 156 page book features Neck Face's drawings, paintings, installations, sculptures, random photography, self-portrait series, pee-ing on toilet paper series, and much more. Highly recommended.

dubstep remix of the Aphex Twin classic

One-sided vinyl featuring an uncredited dubstep remix(1) of the Aphex Twin classic. "Windowlicker" is one of those tracks that never really goes away (not that we want it too) and it was only a matter of time before a dubstep rerub showed up. Obviously this will get huge result as the instantly recognizable original gets beefed up drums and waves of big bass wobbles so the crowd can lose their shit. Don't know how long these will be around so act fast.

OUR OPINION
These are a great deal for anyone looking for decent speakers AND an audio interface in one. If you are just starting to set up your production studio or just want to stream line, you really can't beat the features for the price of the M1 Active 520 USBs. The smaller version (M1 Active 320) have been consistent sellers, and now with the 520's you have a louder, more powerful speaker/interface combo. Recommended.
