It's small and compact (fits in the palm of your hand) and features a clever design that allows the cable to be neatly wound around itself so you never have to worry about tangled wires. The side that connects to your laptop has a colored LED that lights up orange when charging and green when you have a full charge so you always know the status of your battery. It also charges your laptop battery when the system is in off, on, or sleep mode and can also power your system if you choose to operate without a battery. This 85 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter also features a magnetic DC connector that ensures your power cable will disconnect if it experiences undue strain and helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time.
