Now in a hardcover edition. Fucked Up brings the obscure art of punk and hardcore flyers into spectacular view with this freakin wicked collection of original artifacts. This is undoubtedly the largest assemblage of flyers, handbills, and one sheets of this kind. Even if you were never into scene, these examples are so pure (done for the love!), it's quite moving. This is low budget Kinko's marketing at its finest. Visual artists have lots to take from here: striking illustrations, sloppy cut and paste work, imperfect type, and lots of some unintentional design genius. Features a couple thousands examples from bands like the Germs, Black Flag, Dead Kennedy's, JFA, Exploited, Fugazi, Misfits, Bad Brains, Suicidal Tendencies, and many other more obscure bands. Softcover, 240 pages of non-stop white angst recommended by this asian kid.
