When the wood block lights up, all the design-heads go crazy (pop my collar, swing my mouse...). This award winning design (2002 Asahikawa design fair) is now available to the design masses. It looks like a solid block of wood, but when you turn on the clock, an LED readout magically appears on the surface (it's actually an illusion utilizing a thin veneer front). Snackmaster Jay was baffled by the illusion, mostly due to the convincing functionality and seamless construction. It's retro and modern at the same time.

Available in two sizes, this is the "tall" version and measures 8.25" x 3.5" x 3.5". Powered by an included AC adaptor.
