These BNN Petit Pattern books from Japan are an essential resource for graphic designers, pattern makers, and anyone else visually obsessive. Each book is filled with high quality prints of each pattern, a cd with EPS(Illustrator) and JPEG(Photoshop) files that can be manipulated, and instructions for use in the field. This book focuses on pictograms (hello Ryan Mcginess!) and covers over a 220 pages of different pictograms that range from subtle to obnoxious, the serious to the silly, and everything in between. Definitely a whole lot easier than drawing these out yourself. Recommended.
