Plastic Little are funny as hell, and if you disagree you're probably trying too hard to find fault. If you don't know about P.Lil yet, buy this and watch the enclosed bonus DVD first – it won't take long to convince you. (Included on said DVD are the videos for "The Jump Off(1)" and "Rap O'Clock(2)," as well as a little live video / documentary type thing.) Anyway, this is technically the debut full-length from the boys and features the aforementioned two tracks as well as King Honey's remix of "Hi Bitches(3)," which either samples Kano's "I'm Ready" or just straight pilfers the instrumental from Tag Team's "Whoomp! (There It Is)." Either way, it's nice. Other highlights include: "Club Banger(4)," "4$ Love Song(5)" and the Diplo-produced, Spank Rock-featuring "Now I Hollar(5)." Oh yeah, did I mention that fucking Ghostface is on this record?? Yep, check "Crambodia(6)." I know lots of people have lots of connects now and it's cool to be blasé about who folks can pull for their records, but that's some impressive shit. Amanda Blank's on a few tracks here, too – equally awesome. 21 tracks total. Recommended.
