Can't lose with a psych mix from Dr. Delay. The SoulStrut / Funk Weapons associate follows up his best-selling Rajaz Meter mix with this shiny new collection of dusty old tunes, "originally a gift for a friend moving out of the country." As you might guess from the title, the theme here is hazy, dreamy stuff, ranging between straight-up folk and psych-rock. I could drop some names (Can, Caravan, Vox Dei, Linda Perhacs), but most of these groups are so hopelessly obscure that you're just gonna have to hear for yourself. Just smoke one, lean back and recognize the good Doctor as the psychedelic overlord. 24 tracks total; pressed on a real CD with great cardboard digipak artwork by Burlesque's Mike 2600.
