Up From The Vaults showcases their diversification (and improvement) of the last season, highlighted by a couple Afro-funk numbers, Latin soul meanderings and uncategorizable downtempo stuff, in addition to their straight hard funk offerings. Our favorites are El Michael's Affair's "Easy Access, Pt.2(1)," Bronx River Parkway's "Qienes Haverlo(2)," WQLJ's "Nothin Doin But Waitin On Leon(3)" and Massak's "BLA, Pt.1(4)."
