Miss Ya Ya Ya's Myspace says she's from London AND Paris. Sounds rough! Who knows where she hails from originally, but this is some sexy ESL shit right here. Suuuper Lo-fi production, but that's not an insult; that's where the charm lies! I'm not totally sure Pacha is ready for this jam, as much as an extremely rowdy DIY party with blown out speakers. Bitchee brings "riot grrrl" enthusiasm with a more playful and of course dance-y vibe. I imagine early Le Tigre demos could potentially sound something like this. More ubiquitous French sounds from Brodinski & Yuksek on remix number one. They clean up the sound and prepare it for, well, maybe still not Pacha, but a crisp sound system for sure. Reminds me of all the beautiful Goldfrapp remixes released last year. Sup Pop signee and Brazil residents, CSS tend to take whatever song they are remixing and make it sound like, you guessed it - a CSS song! Some nice analog sounds make this perfect for those indie dance nights with headbands and people that take pictures of pretty girls making ugly faces. Bitchee dips down to South America again for the final remix. Brazilians Mixhell slow it down a touch in the beginning but then drumroll their way to a four on the floor noisy hypnosis at just the right moment.
