After a long period of hibernation, it's great to see some movement from the much loved Memphix crew! The Redeye Jedi, as indicated in the title, drops a stack of Stax on yer back with this limited edition mix of his favorite tracks from perhaps the most respected soul catalog in the world. (Not sure what it's limited to, but our copies have hand-numbered stickers in the two- and four-hundo's...) No tracklisting, but the mix is broken into 16 segments of smokey funk and soul, with flawless mixing and even some nice scratching in all the right places. Many samples to be trainspotted, too - I'd never heard the sample source for "Come On Feet" before! Also includes two bonus Redeye-produced joints, "Black Eyed Soul" by Red & The Eyerights and "No More Tears" by Empee. C'mon, you know Memphix wouldn't do ya dirt... 18 tracks; 52 minutes total.
