Our fellow Brooklynite Dr. Delay returns to the Lab with a properly pressed, full-color digipak mix. Eastern Block Party is a logical extension of his Psycrunk CD of a few years back, only this time Delay is mining strictly Eastern European rock, blues and psych breaks for the beats to anchor his vast array of classic and current (but mostly classic) rap acapellas. There's no tracklisting - just some funny phoney liners on the back and a slew of obscure covers in the center - but anyone who's picked up Delay's other outstanding (and now sadly out-of-print) mixes like Rajaz Meter and REM Sleep know that this man has "the ear." 28 tracks; 48 minutes. Recommended.
