I'll be honest, I prefer Prins Thomas' solo productions over Lindstrom's, but when these two come together I can't deny it - the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Lindstrom's slower, more hypnotic style combined with Prins Thomas' disco taste works beautifully. To the fans' benefit, they take some of the best tracks from their previous self titled album and completely put them through the remix ringer. Thus they give us "Reinterpretations". Feel AM becomes "Feel PM(1)", Claudja becomes the masculine version "Claudio(2)". Both are reworked and pumped with a harder groove, making completely new compositions out of their previous singles. Other spotlights are the discofied version of "Turkish Delight(3)" which I like a lot better, and the tougher less balearic version of "Boney M Down(4)." There's also some songs I haven't seen before, like the funky "Tempo Tempo(5)" and "Vrang Og Vanskelig". Also includes two songs from their Nummer Fire EP, "Nummer Fire To" and the art gallery DJ's best friend - the 21 min. long version of "Nummer Fire En" Both versions rip. Still can't get that promo picture of them in the bathtub together, but it's good news to know they're still in the studio.
