At long last it's the debut full-length offering from Mr. Jesse Tittsworth, without a doubt one of the most innovative and interesting (not to mention prolific) producers to rise out of the DC/Baltimore club scene in recent memory. Titts called in the big gun guest stars for 12 Steps, and the result is a record full of tracks which could each easily be 12"s on their own. Check the upcoming single "WTF(1)" with Kid Sis and Fully Fitted's Pase Rock, the DJ Assault-produced version of lead single "Broke Ass N*gga(2)" with vocals from Bmore mainstay Kenny B. and co-conspirator Jinxx, Nina Sky and Pitbull on the Hall & Oates-interpolating "Here He Comes(3)," hyphy forefathers The Federation on "Drunk As F*ck(4)," and of course Diamond K on the updated club classic "Tear The Club Up 2008(5)." 12 tracks; 41 minutes. Recommended.
