Limited edition first pressing on pink marble vinyl! Third album from Sebastien Tellier, and this time he's enlisted Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo on production duties. Add the fact that it's being released on Air's label (Record Makers) and this is basically a Francophile's wet dream. Speaking of wet dreams, as you may have surmised from the title and artwork, this album is all about... sex. No worries if you don't speak French: Tellier sings in English, too, and anyway the vibes from these songs tell you all you need know about the lyrical content. This is like Serge Gainsbourg for the Ed Banger set; a poster of a sexy girl in a bikini wearing a robot helmet on an otherwise bare flat wall. Barely a dud on here, with Tellier proving once again that he's the secret genius of the current Parisian scene. Check out "Kilometer(1)," "Sexual Sportswear(2)," "Divine(3)," "Elle(4)," "Fingers of Steel(5)" or "Manty(6)." There may not be another epic setpiece like "La Ritournelle" here, but that's a small sacrifice for Tellier's strongest album to date. 11 tracks. Highly recommended.
