Lab's own Sabo with his debut 12" 0034; release on Wonderwheel. Mr. Sabatini has made his name from his heated sets at Turntables on the Hudson and his trademark wild gyrations behind the decks, part seizure, part Brazilian gigolo. He backs up those crazy moves with some of the best djing in the south american flavored dance music category (although he can rock the straight house and hip-hop as well). He's got a sharp sense for build-up and crowd participation, and he puts that into work here with partner Zeb. A-side features the call to dance "Jump" which should have your dancefloor by the strings with its many undulations. When you're ready to set it off, take it to "NYC" with its mean sound and dub effects. This will no doubt be killing the Frying Pan parties for years to come.
