Officially dubbed "It's the Motherfucking Remix Volume 2.2," this is the officially official version of the DJ-friendly promo disc that Ayres has been handing off to select pals for a few minutes. (That was Volume 2.1 – ya see?) Whereas the first two volumes of It's the Motherfucking Remix featured the tracks continuously mixed together, this CD gives you all the best full-length remixes, blends and m*sh-ups from the Rub crew and extended familia – no blending, no interruptions, perfect for playing out or throwing into your next radio show or mixtape. As a little bonus, Ayres included some new and exclusive shit that wasn't on Volume 1 or 2, like his Bmore version of Crystal Waters' "She's Homeless," titled "La Da Dee(1)," and his Curtis Mayfield Bmore, "Move On Up(2)," which was originally featured on Tittsworth's label. (Ditto for him and Catchdubs' Bmore remix of "Tell Me When To Go(3).") A-Trak contributes the most interesting and leftfield blend here, twerking Jack White and the Raconteurs' "Steady As She Goes" and dropping Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" on top(4). Check also: Cosmo Baker's remix of "Stunt 101(5)" and Catchdubs' Too Short / Bangles blend, "Egyptian Rubber(6)." Needless to say, this one's a good look for all your Seratonians. 20 tracks total.
