The Lab has teamed up with world renowned illustrator / designer Doug Cunningham of Morning Breath (he did Wave Twisters amongst so many other things) to commemorate the top soccer player in the world, Leo Messi aka The Flea.
We wanted the shirt to look like something you could pick up outside an Argentine stadium, so we gave it a simple look and Alternative Apparel bodies (cut American Apparel but lighter fabric and neck). But look closely at the illustration and you'll see Doug's mad genius with halftone coloring, a hidden "Argentina", and great graphic details.
