Lab Overview

The 9th album from Brooklyn psych-folk outfit Woods. City Sun Eater in The River of Light continues the warm, tranquil aesthetic of the band, and Jeremy Earl’s “lifting falsetto” weaves in and out of nifty guitars, lush horns, and soothing organs that paint the melodic 10-tracker’s mild-tempered tone. Check out “Sun City Creeps,” “Creature Comfort,” “Morning Light,” and “Can’t See At All.” Released by Earl’s own Woodsist imprint on gatefold sleeve with printed insert.
