Lab Overview

1971 album from the legendary Miles Davis. Jack Johnson was originally recorded in 1970 and was inspired by Davis' desire to assemble the "greatest rock and roll band you have ever heard." The album was a turning point in Davis' career and many feel that it is among his greatest recorded works. It's filled with traces of jazz fusion and funk, helped in no small part by the lineup that Davis put together for the session. Includes the sidelong songs "Right Off" and "Yesternow." Two tracks in all. Released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on 180 gram vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
