Justin Robertson has been producer hero to me ever since he branded the early 90s alternative rock scene with his dubby dance remixes (dood has over 300 remix credits!). For this release on cult label Is It Balearic, he brings a similar dub aesthetic to the cosmic - slow disco scene. His studio expertise shines through here as he brings in all sorts of instruments and sound kits to achieve a complex, almost poppy sound. Without peeking at the credits, you'd never guess this was Robertson, but once revealed it becomes very apparent. Features the title track(1), "Echo Sound(2)," and a remix by Mainstem(3).
