Wow. Super sophisticated sounds from our friend Jerome (aka Blackjoy) from France. This cover version of Georges Brassens' "La Mauvaise Reputation(1)" with Sandra Nkake's deep and sexy vocals just oozes with class. Get swept away in the subtle details of the smooth guitars, deep bass and eclectic groove. The musicality on this piece is just superb, a clear cut above a lot of the contemporaries. The flip side features a great instrumental version that bumps with punchier drums. Very recommended.
