I've been so into Sprain Your Tapedeck that I'm thinking in Edan phrases all the time: "Let's buy some cats. Stealing is the way. TGI Fridays"; Thus, I copped this 12 looking for the Bob James instrumental to do my best Edan impression over (hey, dorks get envied by bigger dorks). Instead,"MCs Smoke Crack;" does an about face and gets a remix, complete with re-recorded vocals and some dusty fingers drum action, to a totally different effect. Compare this to the OG, where Edan is giggling between every word, and the remix makes gringo sound hard! Damn hard! Somethin you can bump in your ghetto box while modeling your Jeancos. B-side "I'll Come Running Back To You' is pure Edan with more lyrics you can repeat in your girl's ear, like "I'll fart in my hand and touch your face." You laugh but Ayres does that shit all the time. Instrumentals included.
