2nd single from Brooklyn's Purple Crush. "Shopping On The Dancefloor" gets the full remix treatment from a cast of up and coming producers, must have been some serious email politic-ing to get this one together. The original version comes first, and you'll quickly see why they've become a bloghouse fave: the vocals give the usual electro fare some real substance. Brooklyn's AC Slater (look out for him on Trouble & Bass) and Mike Genius, respectively, start the reworks with expected electro works. Then the controversial Krames comes in with the 90s retro-house sound rework a la "Show Me Love" (and more recently "Be"). Berlin's Shir Khan cleans it up with the most adventurous rework, effecting the vocals, adding a huge drum & bass bassline and countering male vocals. Lastly, If you purchase, the whole single, you get the acapella for free.
