Woooooooo-ey! King Tutt's taking b-more to the next level in a big way with the Evolution EP. No cheeky remixes here, just straight up future-style electro infused bmore that bangs HARD. I've been pretty burnt out on bmore lately, but I'd have to say, even these jaded reviewer ears were impressed with the sheer rawness and hype of these tracks. Check the drums that hit like a punch to the face on "Relax, Relate, Release," the arpeggiator/vocoder thump on "The Future," the hype as funk "Still Rolling" and "Let's Go," plus the timely "Black Democrat." Not a bad track in the bunch. Recommended for anyone that rocks the bmore bounce.
