Big release from Brooklyn's Jacques Renault and Macros Cabral (aka Runaway). Brooklyn Club Jam takes elements from old school house, acid, and disco and melds them together into a chugging dancefloor mover that'll work at both the sophisticated club and the grimey warehouse. The audio sample here really doesn't do the track justice since the real meat of the track is after the epic and uplifitng piano riff break and the acidic synths come in. Once it hits, it's a wrap. It's no wonder the track is dual-label released on both DFA and Rekids (as well as remixed by a gang of remixers including Chinatown's Brennan Green, Toby Tobias, Tedd Patterson and Ame)! Recommended.
