Talk about massive. Ghostly's dancefloor-oriented counterpart Spectral Sounds has dropped this ginormous 50 track collection charting 8 years(!) of releases from the ground breaking label. Each track on this extensive compilation is taken from the first 50 Spectral releases (the standout track from each one) and is sequenced chronologically so you can really see how the label has evolved, grown, and influenced other labels. I'm not going to go over every track (that would be ridiculous), but you can bet your minimal-loving ass that their is quality all around in this piece. From the early works of Mr. Matthew Dear, the acid jack of James T. Cotton, Osbourne's smooth grooves, after hours beats from Broker/Dealer, or techno bangers from Audion, this is excellent electronic music.
