As the evolution of the club sound continues, DJ Will Roc takes a slightly different approach from his Unruly comrades. Rather than going for the obvious hype route, Will Roc kills 'em softly with a soothing synth/bmore combination on the title track "3 Miles From Nowhere." This is the softer side of b-more that's been kind of lacking. "Replay" and "Just Let It Go" is more on this kind of steez, but a bit more rocking with the vocal chops atop the sustained synth action. Also check the bloopy, almost minimal synth-more hybrid of "Special" and "I Wanna" which is a lot like the Unruly sound you're used to.
