The Sounds of New York EP was a Lab bestseller for a couple months straight last year. This new compilation builds on that legendary record with an expanded tracklist of disco-rap gems. Original producer Peter Brown had a hand in this new record, so expect similar quality and authenticity. Key selections include Cloud One's ever-classic instrumental "Patty Duke" plus two vocal versions; the bad breaks intro of "Willie Rap;" rare as hell 12" "Margo's Kool Out Krew;" new to us "Teen Machine Rap" and "CC Crew Rap," and another incredible instrumental "Super Jay Love Theme."
