On "Dillagence," Spinna mixes mid-nineties drums and late seventies synthesizers for what hip-hop should sound like in 2008 (but sadly this breed is rare). In tribute to the late great J.Dilla, the bassline is a reworked version of the one from Phat Kat's "Don't Nobody Care About Us." Phonte of Little Brother adds the Slum Village-referencing future soul vocals and completes this idealistic picture. "Spirit of '94" is a cool downtempo number with crime caper overtones.
