Now this one is an interesting one. I see "OM Records," I look at the cover, I check Bassnectar out on Discogs, and I didn't expect this at all. Totally not my style of music, but I'd freak out if I heard the Speaker Junk remix of "Yo" in a club. Wobbly bassline, mental vocals and some pristine percussion meld together to create one hell of a track. They definitely upstage the original of "Yo", which isn't nearly as good as the first remix. Flipping yields a remix and instrumental from Amplive of Zion I with new vocals from Deuce Eclipse. Very similar to the original, it just doesn't bring a whole lot to the table. The extra dish for this record is a Bassnectar remix of Heavyweight Dub Champion with a sick KRS-One vocal. Leave it to the sleeper cut to steal the show, huh? One dirty ass break track in the vein of Prodigy and Chemical Brothers.
