The balearic disco bump of this single is so good, I really want the vinyl of this. My balearic disco crate is small enough as it is (I can count them on my fingers) and not to have a heater like this would be a shame. "Villa Stavros" is Claremont 56's very first single that was limited to only a humble 300 pieces, making it pretty hard to find from the getgo. Not only is it one of my favorite Mudd & Pollard collaborations, it's also available here with "Dub Stravos," which strips the original to just a persussive backbone with sparse effects and instrumentation. Makes for a superb mixing tool. Like I said, wish I had the vinyl. But until then, this'll do just fine.
