Punks Jump Up are Kitsune's half-English / half-Swedish duo and "Dance To Our Disco(1)" is a totally infectious dance-punk anthem in the truest sense of the word. This is like early (awesome) DFA production or the first couple Rapture albums: real sparse, angular guitars with distinct vocals, shuffling disco drums and plenty of cowbell. Speaking of cowbell, Headman's remix(2) leaves just the right amount in place while dubbing out the majority of the vocals and adding a totally sinister bassline... a nice electro alternative to the original's unpolished, punky feel. Flipside features a remix from Nightmoves(3) (with a definite "new rave" vibe).
