Cinematic Orchestra has always been on the cusp of fantastic jazz / downtempo sounds, and this, one of their earlier albums, is no exception. Fantastically arranged, every track is perfection in a variety of ways. Deep and brooding ("Night Of The Iguana"), upbeat and floaty ("Ode To The Big Sea"), missive and abstract ("Blue Birds"), or just straight chillout ("And Relax!"), this entire collection of tracks, though only seven total songs, is sheer brilliance. Ninja Tune sure knows how to pick them, and this is one back catalog release any true fan of the genre should own.
