A succinct 6 track sampler drawn from Blockhead's Uncle Tony's Coloring Book album. Although Block has been delivering the goods to indy emcees like Aesop, Cage, Slug, and Murs, he always seems to keep the best, most forward stuff for himself. His mode for this album seems to be funky synthesizer playing as he adds a new fold to his already polished boom-bap sound. Check the first two tracks to see how he gets down. For the patented head-nod stuff, check "Duke of Hazzard" and "Squirmy Worm." If you just want to chill and get lost, check "Not So OK Corral" and the 80s electro nod "Do The Tron."
