This Rong record from 2005 was released when Rong was still under the radar, but looking back at these release, you see how far ahead of the curve the label was. While everyone else was concerned with the perfect breakbeat, these guys were putting out nuanced, dubbed-out disco tracks. This digital version features two alternate versions of "Aquarium Man," first the Stranger Dub which is almost like an ambient track with the dubby bass keeping rhythm and only teases of drums. The Thick As Thieves edit serves as the pay-off with the full kit including cool trumpet play.
