Audio-Technica
AT-LP120-USB Turntable w/ Built-In Pre-Amp
direct drive deck with USB connectivity
OVERVIEW
Updated USB version of Audio-Technica's direct-drive turntable. With Technics prices at an all-time high, the Audio-Technica AT-LP120 USBs offers a secondary, more inexpensive option with features the 1200 does not have. Firstly, you will notice that the AT-LP120s looks very similar to the 1200. Audio-Technica has basically "borrowed" the 1200's popular layout and design. The major difference is that the AT-PL120s' body is mostly constructed of plastic (vs. the metal of the 1200); however the key parts remain metal (platter and tonearm). In addition, the AT-LP120 USBs retain some of the 1200s most popular features including a high-torque direct drive motor and 3-way adjustable tonearm assembly. Additionally, the AT-PL120 features direct USB connection for digitizing vinyl (software included), built-in pre-amp, -/+ 20% pitch adjustment, 33/45/78 options, and reverse play button; and includes a cartridge, slipmats, and dust cover.
FEATURES
USB Connectivity: Connect the ATLP120 USBs directly to your Mac or PC (no interface required) and easily digitize your vinyl with included Audacity software. Plug & play, no driver installations required.
Direct Drive Motor: The ATLP120 USBs features a high torque direct drive motor that is suitable for DJing. The motor also features quick start-up, a reverse button, and options for 33/45/78 rpm.
Built-In Preamp: The ATLP120 USBs features a switchable built-in pre-amp which allows you to directly connect either into an AUX input (found on most stereos or computers) or a phono mixer. The switch is located underneath the platter.
Pitch Control: The Pitch Control of the ATLP120 USBs is selectable between -/+20% and the standard -/+10%.
Tonearm + Cartridge: The S-shape tonearm features 3 adjustable controls including anti-skate control, tonearm height, and tonearm weight. The ATLP120 USBs includes a Audio-Technica ATP-2 cartridge and headshell.
OUR OPINION
The ATLP120 USB is one of the more professional USB turntables we carry; definitely a viable alternative to 1200s with some excellent features for recording and listening (not found on the 1200). Having the pre-amp and cartridge included also made setup much easier and the added USB connectivity makes digitizing vinyl a snap.

Numark
TTX-USB Turntable
feature loaded USB turntable

OVERVIEW
This is the improved USB version of the Numark TTX turntable. The impressive features of the TTX are now paired with the ability to digitize your vinyl without the need for an audio interface via USB plug and play compatibility for both Mac and Windows PCs at no extra cost. Includes all necessary cables as well as software for removing clicks and pops.
FEATURES
As a pro turntable, the TTX is a very viable option to the classic 1200. This turntable will function like a 1200 in basic features, but also adds many new digital features and improvements. It's evident that Numark had turntablists in mind when designing this turntable, but most of the features come in handy for non-turntablist DJs as well. For starters, it includes both a straight arm and s-shaped tonearm. Some would argue the straight arm is better for scratching (more skip resistant), whereas the classic S-Shaped tonearm is better for mixing. The pitch control (+/- 10, 20 and 50% selectable pitch ranges with key (chord) control) is movable and can be rotated for battle or regular position. The digital display features vital BPM and RPM information (plays 33 / 45 / 78 and reverse) and all the connections are detachable (power, RCA, and ground wire). The construction is as solid as the 1200, weighs more than the 1200, and features a similar steel top and rubber base construction. Add the USB connectivity and you can safely say Numark has covered all the bases.
OUR OPINION
Like all the other turntables that have come along over the years trying to compete with the Technics 1200, we were initially skeptical about the performance of the TTX, which has been hailed by many as the next step. But after inspection and testing, we must first applaud Numark for their vast improvements in product quality. The TTX-1 is leaps and bounds beyond the sub-par quality that they had become notorious years back. That being said, the TTX-1 is quite impressive. Beyond the list of new features and improvements (see below), it is solidly built (even heavier than a 1200) with an extremely strong motor (stronger torque than 1200), great start-up time and accurate pitch control. With the addition of USB connectivity (which eliminates the need for an audio interface when digitizing vinyl), Numark has included a very necessary tool for today's DJ.

Technics
SL-1210M5G Turntable Dual Voltage (Europe/US)
industry standard dj turntable
VOLTAGE NOTICE
This is the multi-voltage version of Technics 1200M5G, which features a switch for changing between 110V and 220V.
OVERVIEW
The 1210 M5G is subtitled the "grand master" and takes over the top of the line position for Technics' line of turntables. The major improvement here, and the feature which is exclusive to the 1210M5G, is the pitch control. It is now completely digital, which means you should never have the problem of mismatched pitch ranges, and it also gives you the ability to choose between two separate pitch ranges: the standard +/-8 range and the larger +/-16 range. The color scheme, style and finish are also exclusive to the M5G and includes a blue stylus pop-up light, blue lights for both pitch ranges, a unique metallic black finish, and brushed steel hardware for everything down to the 45 adaptor.
Other than that, the M5G includes the same improvements that the MK5 made over the M3D: include 1) the tonearm construction has been improved, which should lead to better skip resistance 2) the brake adjustment is now more accessible. Simply remove the record and slipmat and it's possible to adjust the platter's breaking time with a screwdriver.
OUR OPINION
The Technics 1200 turntable is still our #1 recommendation, in any model number. This "grand master" edition has finally made some serious improvements to the basic 1200 scheme, with the digital pitch control a particularly useful step. Aside from that, the M5G is the most unique 1200 this side of the limited edition gold 1200s and retains all the strengths of previous models. The feel and durability are unmatched. It is the best turntable available, and one that is used in 99% of all venues. Some newer turntables may have more features, but this is the superior overall product, and is the preferred choice for all types of djing. The high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound are the standards by which all other turntables are judged. The body and major components are made of steel (whereas most other turntables are made of plastic). The bottom of the body is made of a dense rubber that eliminates distortion and feedback and adds extra weight for stability. Most of the basic parts are readily available and user replaceable. The resale value is also very high.

Stanton
T.62 Turntable (with 500.v3 Cartridge)
beginner DJ turntable
OVERVIEW
The T.62 is the upgraded version of Stanton's popular (but now discontinued) T.60 turntable. It features super easy operation, a direct-drive motor, and straight tone arm for superior tracking and scratch capability. In addition, the unit comes with everything you need to start spinning - a Stanton 500.v3 cart, slipmat, RCA cables and more all for under $200 bucks.
FEATURES
The T.62 covers all the bases of turntable functionality, keeping with the standard Technics template while making some useful additions. It has two stop/start buttons so that you can position your turntables regular (horizontal) or battle (vertical) style. The pitch control goes from +/- 10%, and feels accurate.
The RCA cables, ground wire and power cord are all detachable, which is great since those connections are usually the first things to go in a turntables' life. The T.62 also comes with a cloth dustcover, a minor innovation which I think will please a lot of people. The construction is fairly standard for this price range- plastic body, weighted bottom, aluminum platter & tonearm- although these do feel very sturdy.
OUR OPINION
You would be hard-pressed to find another passable direct-drive turntable for $199.00. The T.62 is perfectly good for learning to dj, and should last quite a while under normal stress. While you won't be blown away by the torque on the platter (butter rugs recommended for scratching), Stanton's attention to the little details means this turntable will hold up longer with a better overall experience.

Numark
TT200 Direct-Drive Turntable DISCONTINUED
affordable direct drive
OVERVIEW
Finally, an equipment manufacturer has developed a low priced turntable that functions much like a Technics 1200. The Numark TT200 drastically changes the turntable buying market. With its $199.00 price tag, it easily outperforms similarly priced turntables; and also competes with the 1200 and similar high end turntables in terms of price performance.
What makes this turntable different? First and foremost, the TT200 has a powerful direct drive motor. The torque (1.7 kg/cm) is actually stronger than the 1200(!). Second, the construction resembles the durable design of higher priced models: steel top, rubberized bottom, and aluminum platter. The TT200 weighs almost as much as a 1200, and you can feel it when you use it.
The all aluminum, straight arm tonearm is the best offered at this price range. It performs with excellent tracking, and higher durability than its plastic counterparts. The pitch control has a wide range of +/-10 (1200s have +/-8), and appears to be accurate. The pitch control response does not appear to be as quick as the 1200, but it is a small detail, that is easily adapted to.
OUR OPINION
Hands down, in the under $350 range, this is the best turntable we've tested. At this price, the TTX stands alone in terms of price and functionality. It is not a high-end turntable, but it captures several key functions of those higher priced turntables (torque, tonearm, several construction features). If you are a beginner, intermediate, or DJ on a budget, this is definitely a solid choice at an incredible price. We give a high recommendation in terms off price and performance.
What's the difference between this and higher priced turntables? In percentage terms, whereas most budget turntables compete with high end turntables at about 30-50%, the TT200 is closer to 75%. Although the construction is much better than its counterparts, the overall grade of the parts is not as high as the 1200. It still has a plastic feel. Although its torque is higher than the 1200, the motor on the 1200 feels stronger (dues to combination of platter weight and body stability). The TT200 is a very functional turntable, but it doesn't quite feel like a finely tuned piece of equipment. When buying equipment, we always say you get what you pay for. With the TT200 you get the most for your money.

Stanton
T.92 USB Turntable (w/ Recording Software)
direct drive USB turntable
OVERVIEW
The T.92 upgrades Stanton's popular T.92 turntable with a sleek black finish on the body and tone arm. It is a direct drive turntable with USB connectivity for under $300. Digitize your vinyl without the need for an interface or mix and scratch with great pick up and platter response. Includes cartridge, slipmat, and all necessary cables as well as editing software for digitizing your records.
FEATURES
The T.92 turntable features a quality, high-torque direct drive motor with +/- 8% or 12% pitch range (with key lock!) in Stanton's unique styled body. The direct drive motor coupled with the S-shaped tone arm provides much better response, pick up and tracking than belt drive turntables allowing for better performance while mixing and scratching. The T.92 also features USB connectivty, an important feature in todays age of digital DJing. Simply connect to your computer to digitize your records into audio files for your Digital DJ system or your iPod. Comes with everything you need to get started - cartridge, slipmat, cloth dust cover, and Cakewalk Pyro sound editing program.
OUR OPINION
If you need a direct drive turntable that's good for DJing with USB capabilities - this is it. The T.92 is much better for dj performance than some of the more budget belt drive USB tables we sell, and it doesn't have any extraneous features you might not use like some of it's higher priced competitors. It is a great all in one solution with everything you need already in the box for under $300.

Technics
SL-1210MK2 Turntable Dual Voltage (Europe/US) - Black
VOLTAGE NOTICE
This is the multi-voltage version of Technics 1210MK2, which features a switch for changing between 110V and 220V.
OVERVIEW
The SL-1210MK2 has the same features and performance as the legendary 1200MK2, except it features a sleek black finish. The Technics 1200MK2 has been the industry standard for 25+ years. For all intents and purposes, this is the exact same turntable as the contemporary MK5 series, just without some of the new features, and the Technics 1200 remains the preferred choice for all types of djing.
FEATURES
This is the turntable that first established the type of high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound that is required by djs; and after 25+ years it is still the standard by which all other turntables are judged. Every other turntable that has come since has patterned their design off this legendary piece of equipment, and the reason is simple: the 1200MK2 is about as close to perfection as you can get with a piece of machinery. It functions beautifully and the durability and construction are unmatched. The body and major components are made of steel. The bottom of the body is made of a dense rubber that eliminates distortion and feedback and adds extra weight for stability. Most of the basic parts are readily available and user replaceable.
The differences between the MK2 and the newer MK5 versions are fairly minor and mostly aesthetic. They are as follows: the MK2 still has the "click" at zero on the pitch control, the MK2 does not have a protective sleeve around the on/off knob, and no slipmat is included. Other than that, they are identical.
OUR OPINION
Our #1 recommendation. There is simply no replacement for a Technics 1200 turntable, and it's almost cooler to have this original MK2 model, without the unnecessary "new features" of the newer M3D and MK5 models. Regardless of model number, Technics still makes the best turntable available, and they are used in 99% of all venues. Resale value is also very high. Some newer turntables may have more features, but this is the superior overall product. When you use a 1200, you know you are using the best.

SL-1210MK5 Turntable Dual Voltage (Europe/US)
industry standard dj turntable
VOLTAGE NOTICE
This is the multi-voltage version of Technics 1200MK5, which features a switch for changing between 110V and 220V.
OVERVIEW
The Technics 1200 has been the industry standard for 25+ years. The 1200MK5 replaces the 1200M3D, making a couple improvements along the way: 1) the tonearm construction has been improved, which should lead to better skip resistance. 2) the brake adjustment is now more accessible. Simply remove the record and slipmat and it's possible to adjust the platter's breaking time with a screwdriver. Other than that, this is exactly the same as the M3D, which had these differences from the original MK2: 1) power switch is sunken to prevent accidental turn-off 2) includes a button which overrides the pitch control to zero (regular speed) 3) no "click" at zero on the pitch control 4) comes with a high quality Technics 2 piece slipmat 5) Dust cover does not include hinges.
FEATURES
This is the turntable that first established the type of high torque (motor strength), accurate pitch (speed control), quality tone arm (aids in skip resistance), and superior sound that is required by djs, and after 25+ years it is still the standard by which all other turntables are judged. LAB REVIEW
The PDX-3000 MKII performs just as solid as the Technics 1200 in terms of pitch accuracy, tone-arm stability and motor torque. The PDX-3000 MKII is specially targeted for DJs who use their turntables for more than mixing. Hip-hop djs, scratch DJs and turntablists that will benefit from the high torque and straight style tone arm. In addition, The Anti-Skip feature truly reduces the amount of skips you'll experience.
MANUFACTURER'S REVIEW
DJs from 20 years ago wouldn't have believed you if you had told them that in the future, DJs show up to venues with portable computers and controllers. The media DJs play today may vary from what it once was, and the gear may have advanced over the years, yet the turntable still remains as a necessity for many. Why? Because the turntable remains as the only interface that allows DJs to play and control music with the simplest, but diverse maneuver. The amount of data analog turntables and vinyl feed to the DJ is massive and far more complicated than it is considered. The vibration to the finger tips, width an feel of the ditches is a few and itâÃôs impossible to digitally simulate such factors. Vestax knows the importance of the turntable, and continues to produce quality interfaces, which will connect the DJs sensibility with music.
A.S.T.S.
Vestax's original Anti Skipping Tone-arm System ensures high sound quality and stable playback by reducing the inner and outer force of the needle, suppressing horizontal vibrations. The entire system, from bearing parts to assembly, is performed by seasoned Japanese pros, which is why the A.S.T.S. tone arm is appraised world wide for its quality.
Direct Drive DC Motor: UPGRADED!
The PDX-3000mk2's direct drive DC motor has powerful torque of maximum 4.7CN/cm, and reaches a constant speed rate within 0.5 seconds from pushing the start/stop button. An extremely precise regulator is required to accurately control such a motor, and with the PDX-3000 it is digitally (32bit CPU) controlled with a digital servo. This servo keeps the motor rotating no matter how heavily the pitch is changed, reverse button is pushed or the platter is pulled back.
New high-precision platter UPGRADED!
With an advanced digital servo in combination, Vestax has cast a new mold to optimize the balance between the platter weight and rotary inertia moment. This enables the DJ to perform with higher stability and accuracy. Having the surface been lowered, DJs have more control over vinyl, along with carefully designed sides for precise pitch adjustment.
Digital Torque Simulator
The digital servo firmware is the brain of the control circuitry. Over the past 10 years it has advanced in order to provide better analog simulation of torque control to DJs. Two control modes can be selected for the DJs preference. Performance mode maintains the stabilized speed and rapid acceleration/deceleration, while MIX mode enables to control precise rpm with the slightest touch to the platter.
MIDI COMPATIBLE
The PDX-3000mk2 can be controlled by MIDI note signals sent from other control devices. For example, hook up a MIDI keyboard with a single note vinyl and you can play musical scales
STRONG BODY MATERIAL
The ultra strong high pressure foamed ABS plastic that constructs the body is advanced in durability, strong against feed back and is highly resistant to impact.
AIR SUSPENSION INSULATOR: UPGRADED!
The insulators (the feet) are filled with rubber for absorbing shock, and have airspace inside for better low frequency feedback absorbent

TT200 Turntable - REFURBISHED
affordable direct drive
B-STOCK SPECIAL: This unit has been factory refurbished and is now in like new condition with all original documentation and packaging.
