The SR125 gets similar praise, if not more than the SR50 and SR80 models. The SR125 builds on the SR80s with an improved diaphragm and voice coil design and UHPLC (Ultra-high purity, long crystal) copper voice coil wire. The Diaphragms are put through a special 'de-stressing' process in order to enhance inner detail. Bass, midrange and treble are all more open. According to Grado, the SR125s have balance and character similar to the RS1 headphones (Grado's $700 model).
