We funked up and wrote the wrong numbers,
too lazy to draw them over again, live wit it

TITLE: Live @ Crystal Skate
ARTIST: Chuck Brown
LABEL: Future Records 1985

Got to give it up for the Godfather of Go-Go! This man is almost 70 years old & still cranks at least 3 nights a week! Classic live joint from the mid 80's when go-go was at its best in my opinion. Chuck covers All the styles'.., blues, soul, funk, hip hop, and jazz with his patented go-go swing and the classic chuck "pocket". Still rocks the party and is absolutely essential!

TITLE: Summer Jam
ARTIST: CD III
LABEL: Vanity Records 1984

Most cats know CD III for their hit "get tough" which is no doubt a classic early 80's joint, but this nugget is just as good, maybe even better! This is actually their 3rd release. Very hard to find since it was on a small independent NY label. Dj Howie Tee on the scratch & CD III talking about how live the summer time is'."in the summer the girls look better cause they can't hide behind their coats & their sweaters"''ain't it the truth! Cop this joint if you ever run across it!

TITLE: Gears
ARTIST: Johnny Hammond
LABEL: Milestone 1975

Without a doubt one of the best lp's I own! Just drop the needle & let it ride. For the b-boys you got the classic "shifting gears" and "fantasy" both with tight uptempo breaks to rock back & forth. Then you got "tell me what to do" a jazz/funk jammie, "los conquistadores chocolates" another jazz funk classic that the house dj's get down with, and to top it off you got the quiet storm classic, "can't we smile" an HUR staple'.DC heads know what I'm talking about! Can you tell I really like this lp?

TITLE: Work Song 12"
ARTIST: Pat Lundy
LABEL: Pyramid 1977

One of my favorite breaks of all-time as heard on double dee & steinski's lessons! Drums are super punchy on this rare promo-only 12"! Absolutely mandatory to have 2 copies!

TITLE: Funky Nassau
ARTIST: Beginning of the End
LABEL: Alston 1971

Breaks, funk, grooves all over the place. Too Hot! Their 2nd lp ain't bad either!

TITLE: Hip Hop on Wax Vol.1 12"
ARTIST: DJ Chuck Chillout
LABEL: Vintertainment 1984

Ok, a lot of cats are gonna hate; but for me, this is the best dj cut record ever produced! Chuck put his weight on this shit! Everytime I play this record I am amazed at how tight and funky the scratch arrangements are! The K.I.S.S. philosophy

TITLE: Rising to the Top 12"
ARTIST: Keni Burke
LABEL: RCA 1982

Timeless groover! How can anyone not like this record!

TITLE: Sexy Coffee Pot 7"
ARTIST: Tony Alvon & the Belaires
LABEL: Atlantic 1968

Man I had wanted this record for soooo long. Ever since the 45 king 1st rocked it on his Breakmania lp in 88 waaaaaaaay before brainfreeze. This is the epitome of a funk 45 for me! Big up to the 45 King who absolutely does not get his just due! He was killing cats with the crates!

TITLE: Collage
ARTIST: Eddie Drennon & the BBS Unlimited
LABEL: Friends & Co 1975

"do what you gotta do" that's all I need to say about this lp'''.whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TITLE: It's A Demo 12"
ARTIST: DJ Polo & Kool G Rap
LABEL: Cold Chillin 1986

Marley murdered funky drummer! The dub mix is a skull cracker! Kool G Rap one of the illest repping for his dj'..Polo. Yo, I literally cried when I accidently broke my 2nd copy''.anybody got one''I need another'''..holla!
