Akai's MPD24 Controller improves upon the popular MPD16 with many new features that will benefit producers of all skill levels. Modeled after the legendary MPC series, the MPD24 features 16 velocity sensitive pads that allow for extremely expressive and intuitive percussion and rhythm programming. The MPD also features four selectable pad banks for a total of 64 playable pads, six assignable faders and eight assignable, 360 degree knobs for transmitting MIDI Control Change data, and transport controls for interfacing with DAW/sequencing applications.
