Lab Overview

House music all night long. Classic 90's house bizness from Kerri Chandler on The Atmosphere EP. This is the perfect representation of Kerri's deep house sound and is easily one of his most legendary releases to date. Heads already know what's up (time to replace those worn out play copies!) as this record was a staple to the 90's scene for the DJs as well as the dancers. Check the sound on "Climax 1," a timeless New Jersey house classic with Kerri's signature keys, swingy beats, and a hefty bassline to make you MOVE. "Climax 2" takes it deeper, with samples and a melody that will take you back, while "Track 1" lifts you up with heavenly chords and an old school horn over more heavily swinging beats (my personal fave on the EP). Lastly, "Track 2" goes deep with a Mr. Fingers-feeling acid bassline thrown in the mix, while meandering jazzy keys float on top. Original copies tend to exchange hands for loot, so get this official remastered repress while it lasts (which won't be for long). Essential for house heads. Recommended.
