Editions Disco is quickly becoming the domestic answer to all those pricey collector's edits coming out of Europe. On the label's 5th release, friend of the Lab, DJ Language, edits(1) up Gino Soccio's cover of Bill Withers "Love Is." According to Language himself, it's one of the "most epically beautiful keyboard breaks..." Sounds like party scene music from Weekend At Bernie's to me, but what do I know? The flip features a re-edit of "Workin(2)" by NYC DJ Jacques Renault. The label is not giving up any info on this track, but it's got a working in coal mine feel (literally) that eventually explodes into keyboard mayhem. This release is definitely not for the casual collector (like their excellent "Think Twice" edit), but for those hardcore into keyboard music, Italo stuff, and weird shit in general.
