Ultramegahypergigasuper heat alert! Killer 12" of house/disco reworks on the Love For Music (white)label - it was supposed to be an undercover offshoot of the ace Still Music label in Chicago, but the cat got out of the bag and turned out to be a roaring lion. "Good God(1)" is a super classy, very Detroit-style upbeat cut-up track with a strong, soulful feel that might be enough for the buck; but then you have the mid-tempo groover "Browns(2)" that might have some bells ringin' for some of you ex-indie hiphop heads. Finally, you're gettin' "Nards(3)" as a cherry on top of it all - probably the best of the 3 tracks, an uptempo disco monster, and the one that blew the rest of my brains away when I first heard it. Getting love from all the right people (Gilles to No Ordinary Monkey monkeys). Limited press and highly recommended.
