I want to shake the hand of the man that kicked off this acid revival, 'cause not only am I hearing songs I haven't heard in ages, but I'm remembering just how good the production was back in the day. The Jack Rabbit isn't exactly a staple name in the Chicago acid history books, seeing as he only released a few tracks, but that doesn't mean he didn't kick out the jams. "Only Wanted To Be(1)" is your straight up acid. Nothing special, nothing terrible, but it's a banger for sure. The flip is where this shit is at though! "Rabbit Trax(2)" is just straight evil! Listen to this, son! Not only is the 303 just straight pissed off on this one, those demonic vocals! Are you kidding me?! Bangin'! Now if we can only get a copy of Acid Jesus's "Jesus EP"...
