I was in the UK a few years ago when all these great Trojan repressings dropped. Most of tunes in this series were extremely difficult to find on original pressing, as well as having that, shall we say, less than perfect sound quality we Jamaican music lovers have grown used to. The reissues corrected that, taking these rare cuts and remastering direct from the tapes or original copies. Problem was, I was using all my DJ fees to buy the damn things on Berwick Street in London. Damn you, weak US$! And forget about getting them in stock for the Lab. Who's gonna buy an $14 12-inch (besides a Justice fan, I guess)? Well, joy joy, I recently found a few of these at a nice price for you all. So here's the super rare Clive Hylton "From Creation(1)," a cool Lee Perry rarity over the Satta Amasagana rhythm. Nice, but flip it for the real treat, an Upsetters version of "Satta(2)" that just cooks. Heavy heavy vinyl.
