Anyone out there that hasn't given Matthew Dear's Big Hands a spin really should do so. Awesome tech-nerd-rock that screams Duran Duran, Joy Division and old Bloc Party. You really can't tell me that you won't dance to "Deserter(1)." And if you do, you're full of shit, and I'm totally spying you on the train singing along with your eyes closed doing the Molly Ringwald in your mind. Dig the electro-funk of "You Know What I Would Do(2)," and if you're really up to spacing yourself out, Four Tet's version of the title track(3). Don't expect a kick drum though - that's as sparse of a Four Tet track as you're going to find.
