the lab review
If there was ever a sureshot eighties electro hit, it's gotta be "Let The Music Play." The ladies love it on a "Sweet Dreams" level – drop it at any club anywhere, and it's a panty avalanche. On a sing-along scale of 1 to Madonna, it's an 11. And the whip on the intro is a classic scratch sound, perfect for doubles (peep Spinbad's routine on that Casbah CD). Maybe I'm getting soft, but I love these vocals about the uncertainty of finding love in the club, and Shannon really belts it out. I'm not to the point of collecting Stevie B singles (yet), but on the freestyle tip I'd definitely say you need Shannon in your bag.
