Aeroplane is getting me high right now. Didn't know what to expect from the name and smooth sunset gradients on the cover, but this single of "Pacific Air Race(1)" is surprisingly the jam. The dancey bassline combined with the crisp drums, the sparse synth layer, and floating keys is a recipe for a beautiful nightflight. I'm glad Eskimo is pushing the smooth disco sound like this, 'cause really there's not much else with this chemistry right now. Maybe some Rong cuts, but this one surely has it's own unique flavor. Flip the side for the additional dub version and a slow balearic disco burner, "Above The Clouds(2)." Fans of the Balearic Disco CD's and Sorcerer on Tirk Records will like. Recommended.
