At this moment, trance heads and early-adopting-hipsters are converging on same songs, led by DJs like Laidback Luke, Bart B More (playing our WMC party under the Mad Decent Flag), and even Diplo. "Be" is one of the biggest crossover tracks of the moment, as witnessed by the universal frenzy it causes (check youtube for the visuals). The original instrumental version(1) has a nasty, slightly nauseating setup section (droning!), which leads into calm before the storm moment, followed by a 90s house synth line, which finally ignites the thudding 4/4 drums (let the madness reign!). This 12" also includes Laidback Luke's Rave Edit(2) and Masi & Mello Re-work Mix(3). It's not quite "Higher State", but it's up their in its loose-your-gourd quotient... just don't try to play this on a shitbox system at your local bar.
