Slept-on Idjut Boys release from '06 on Steve Kotey's Bear Funk label. The boys take a break from re-editing their deep disco crates to bless us with some real smooth balearic house vibes. The minimalist composition and dubbed-out instrumentation on "Laisin(1)" is just the right type of sound for partying at sun rise (or sunset) while chilling out. Not really minding the Norwegian talking over it either (is that Rune Lindbaek?). Actually though, for chilling out to THE MAX, you gotta go for the super laid back Sasse remix(2). The shuffling percussion and dubbed out ambience is just too nice (kinda reminds me of some old Ninja Tune vibes). Also features the spaced out Kalabrese remix(3) which takes up the entire A-side. Plays at 33.
