Off the tar heels of one the summer's finest downtempo records (Instrumntl on the Eastern Developments label), Dabrye returns to his own label for this anticipated follow-up. "Making It Pay(1)" begins the set exactly how you imagined. Delicate production, bass burps, and crisp drums, no let down here. Double the texture, and you get the second track "Hyped Up Plus Tax(2)". The b-side features a guest appearance from Prefuse 73 with the "Dabrye 73.3 Megamix(3)". A throwback to the Krush-Shadow collaboration (MW 033), Prefuse combines 3 Dabrye tracks into one. Quality.
